Feature papers constitute the most superior research with
widespread capability for high effect within the discipline. A Feature Paper
should be a good sized authentic Article that involves numerous strategies or
tactics, affords an outlook for destiny research directions and describes
viable research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon character invitation or
recommendation by using the medical editors and should obtain superb feedback
from the reviewers.

Security and Accurateness of Fingerprint-Based Biometrics: A
Review
Abstract:
Biometric systems are more and more replacing
traditional password- and token-primarily based authentication systems.
Security and reputation accuracy are the two maximum crucial elements to
recollect in designing a biometric gadget. In this paper, a comprehensive
overview is offered to shed light on the latest tendencies inside the take a
look at of fingerprint-based biometrics protecting these two factors to be able
to enhancing device security and recognition accuracy. Based on a radical
evaluation and dialogue, barriers of current research paintings are outlined
and suggestions for destiny work are supplied. It is shown inside the paper
that researchers continue to face challenges in embark upon the two most
important assaults to biometric systems, namely, attacks to the person
interface and template databases. How to design right countermeasures to thwart
those attacks, thereby offering robust security and yet on the same time
keeping high recognition accuracy, is a warm research topic currently, in
addition to inside the foreseeable destiny. Moreover, reputation accuracy below
non-perfect situations is more likely to be unsatisfactory and for this reason
desires unique interest in biometric system layout. Related challenges and
modern studies trends are also outlined on this paper. Keywords: biometrics;
protection; template safety; popularity accuracy; latent fingerprint
